This is an easy to use scientifically based and practical database. The alphabetical index allows users to look up either scientific or familiar common names for plants and chemicals. It has supplement monographs of brand name products with their administration and dosage information, active ingredients, and mechanism of action. Listed products also have both safety and effectiveness ratings assigned by the authors based on published human studies.
