Nellie Duran, MS, RD is an HIV Nutritionist at AltaMed Health Services
in Los Angeles, CA where among other duties; she provides nutrition education
workshops in English and Spanish. Nellie is the co-author of Eye
on the Finish Line The Art of Running a Healthy Marathon and has presented
workshops and posters related to nutrition and HIV/AIDS.
In
this issue, we also say farewell to Kevin Kelly, RD, who has expanded his
private practice and continues his quest for an advanced degree; Amritha
Roser, MS, RD who has a newborn boy to nurture; and Donna Tinnerello, MS,
RD, CDN who has increased community and job responsibilities.
